2021 Fall Classes Start Indoors at New Location on September 13th and 14th

I am pleased to be able to announce that after a prolonged shut down, regular tai chi classes are resuming for the fall. The ten-week session of classes will be offered at a new location on Monday and Tuesday nights, starting September 13th & 14th, 2021.

NEW LOCATION: The fall classes will all be held at a new location, Blakely Hall in the Issaquah Highlands, 2550 NE Park Dr., Issaquah, WA 98029.

NEW NIGHT for BEGINNING CLASSES: The Beginning classes will now meet on Monday evenings. The Beginning I class will meet from 6:15-7:00PM. The Beginning II class will meet from 7:00-7:50PM. These classes run for ten weeks. Classes start on Monday, September 13, 2021 and end on Monday, November 15, 2021.

STILL TUESDAYS for the CONTINUING CLASS: The Continuing Class will still meet on Tuesdays. The class time has been changed slightly. It will meet from 6:15-7:45PM. This class runs for ten weeks. The class starts on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 and ends on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

PROOF of FULLY COMPLETED COVID VACCINATION REQUIRED: For some peace of mind, proof of full Covid vaccination will be required at the first night of class. Exceptions are limited to documented medical conditions or religious belief. If either exception applies, the unvaccinated student must wear a mask at all times whenever inside the building. Masking of vaccinated students may also be encouraged or required but the mask use policy for vaccinated students has not been finalized, is always subject to change, and will be based in part on public health recommendations.

FALL CLASS FEE:  $150.00, payable in full the first night. Cash or check only. Price subject to change.

FALL CLASS DETAILS: For Fall Class details, click on the website’s “Classes Offered” page.

PRIVATE LESSONS: This fall, a limited number of private and semi-private tai chi form lessons will continue to be offered. Practice will usually be held in an outdoor, “social distance” setting in accord with local “Safe Start” phase rules. There will not be any Push Hands or partner work in these lessons. For private lesson inquiries, use the website’s "Registration/Questions" button on the Cover Page.
